Pete Kanellias

Pete represents companies, investors, and entrepreneurs across the full business lifecycle, from formation and financing through growth and exit. His practice spans mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate matters. Pete has advised sellers, target companies, private equity sponsors, and venture capital firms on transactions ranging from strategic acquisitions to founder-led exits.

Drawing on experience with clients that range from global enterprises to family-owned small businesses, Pete brings both technical precision and a grounded, practical approach to each engagement. His background as a first-generation American from a Greek diner-owning family instilled in him the values of hospitality, hard work, and personal service, qualities that shape the way he counsels his clients and builds lasting relationships.

Before joining Triumph, Pete practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and is a member of the New York State Bar.
